Q. What Return Policy is followed at DreamCarModels.com?
A. Return Policy:
Products once bought are not returnable in case one does not like the same or certain parts get disassembled or come off during transit, or due to lack of finishing & detailing in some model brands. Remember these are licensed, branded & imported products, each having different level of quality.

However, there are some possibilities of return, mentioned separately below. Please read further.

Be assured, all models/products are checked for any visible damages/breakage or manufacturing defects before being packed for despatch. In case an issue is found with a model at our end and it is the last piece in stock with us, we always inform customer regarding the same before despatch.
Moreover, we do not sell used models neither do we put models on display at our facility. We are purely an online store selling brand new & unused products. In some cases, product packaging may bear some abrasion marks on the outside. This is due to scraping of the sides while stacking boxes in a carton during transportation or storage.

Further, we request all customers to check detailed photos of the models and read all detailed information that we have put up on our website, like features, scale/size, etc., before placing the order.

Miniature scaled models are very delicate in nature and produced by hand-assembling several parts. On our part, we take extra care while packing these models to avoid damage during transit. Still at times certain parts can get disassembled or even break off the main body during transit, like wing mirrors, wheels, brake callipers, head lamps, antenna, etc. However, these can always be push fitted or glued back easily. This is something which is hard to avoid in an online transaction and beyond our direct control. We humbly request you to consider these realities of online buying while placing orders for scaled models.

Furthermore, it would be worth mentioning that the detailing and quality/finish of each scale model varies from brand to brand. Loose bonnets, doors and other opening or moving parts or body gaps cannot always be treated as defects, if these are present in most of the production lot.

In order to give our customers a clear idea of what they will receive in their orders, we click all photos in-house, except for some premium brand models (due to safety concerns). In case you require further information about product specification or more detailed photos, we will be happy to provide the same to facilitate your buying decision.

Possibility of return:
The goods can be returned only in case:
- We send out a wrong product which is not as per your order, or;
- The parcel and product within have been badly damaged during transit due to mishandling by courier. In such a case, please mention the condition of parcel/carton while signing the delivery sheet. This is very important otherwise return and refund will not be possible at all.

In any of the above cases, we request you:
- Not to use the product and retain all original packing material and boxes & cartons.
- Contact us through phone, email or contact form on Contact Us page, as soon as possible so that return process can be initiated. Complaints of damage after 24 hours of delivery won’t be accepted.

Q.What should be checked before taking delivery of parcels?
A. Please follow the steps below before taking parcel delivery:

  1. At time of delivery, check whether the parcel is intact and not opened during transit (before delivery). Check all the taping and security seal stickers that we affix on all opening parts of the carton.
  2. If you feel parcel has been tampered with or damaged or some unusual tape has been applied during transit, take photos of all sides of the parcel before opening it. Please do not open the parcel until detailed photos are clicked.
  3. Next step is to open the outer carton carefully. Use sharp blade to open the carton. Please do not tear it as you might need it for returns.
  4. After opening outer carton, open the model display box or product packaging with caution. Collect all packing/filling material in one place as these might also contain tiny broken/disassembled parts that come off during transit.
  5. If the model is found damaged you should photograph the model and the display box from different angles.
  6. Please retain all broken parts and original packing. Do not throw away anything until the matter has been solved.
  7. Contact us through phone and email, as early as possible, regarding the damage so that return process can be initiated. Complaints of damage after 24 hours of delivery won’t be accepted.

Q. Image Disclaimer:
A. We try to use as many photos as possible for the model/product so that customer is able to get best possible view from different angles. Photography is done in-house by us (except for some premium brand models) and very slightly edited to give you a clear view of what the product will actually look like when you get it. Still there is always a possibility of slight colour variations when you see the product images at our website. It is mainly due to different monitor settings or photography lighting. We request you to please consider this fact before purchasing the product since it won’t be returnable later. We welcome you to send us as many queries as you feel like before making your final purchase.

Q. How to make payment for Unpaid orders or if payment transaction is not successful in the first attempt?
A. In case you are unable to make payment in the first attempt, please do not place a new order again. When the payment transaction fails first time, your ordered product(s) is reserved with us for few days. To make repeated payment attempts for unpaid orders, please follow the steps given below:

  1. Login to our website
  2. Go to My Account section (link given in top menu).
  3. Click on 'Order History' which will take you to the page showing list of your orders placed with us.
  4. Click on the order number to view detailed information of that order. In the Order Detail tab, scroll down and at the bottom of this page you will find payment options.
  5. Select the appropriate payment option and click the Pay Now button.
  6. At times payment gateways are busy so you might have to try more than once. In that case, please follow steps 3 to 5 again.

Q. Is there a Reward Points program in place for repeat customers?
A. Yes we do have a Reward Points program for our customers, as follows:-

Earn Reward Points:
All customers shopping with us earn reward points on their purchases.
The points are calculated automatically by our website system depending upon product brand & MRP or reduced sale price or discount coupons prevalent at the time of placing order.
Till an order is unpaid, the points are displayed as Pending Points.
After the payment has been made for an order, the points earned are displayed as Active Points for that respective order.
If an order is cancelled due to any reason, the reward points for that cancelled order are subtracted from total points.

View Reward Points:
As an order is being placed, reward points ‘to be earned’ for that order are displayed in Shopping Cart, on right side below the order total amount.
Customers can view details of reward points- Earned, Used, Active & Pending in the My Account section of website after login.
Total reward points available and their combined value in RUPEES is displayed on top of the text box that opens up on clicking the link to view reward points.

Spend/Redeem Reward Points:
Customers can spend/redeem their Reward Points earned for earlier orders in the current order.
1 Reward Point = Re.1/- (The conversion rate can change from time to time without prior notice, kindly note.)
Points can be redeemed partly or fully.
The good thing is that there is no minimum product value to be spent in order to redeem your points.
For example, you have 300 active points worth Rs.300/- and you are buying a product valued at Rs.269/-. To redeem most of the points, enter 269 points in the text field and you will get the product at zero value by paying just the courier charges.

 Q. How to track processing of orders at DreamCarModels.com?
A. Follow the steps below to see how your order is being processed:
  • Login to our website.
  • Go to My Account section (link given in top menu).
  • Click on ‘Order History’ which will take you to the page showing list of all your orders placed with us.
  • Click on the order Number Which will take you to the page with detailed information of that order.
  • This page has different tabs- Order Detail, Payment Detail & Shipping Detail. Click on any tab to view its respective details. The data is updated as the order is processed.

Q. Shipping Information for your orders.
A. For a better understanding the Shipping Info has been divided under different heads, as below:

Shipping/Courier Charges
Shipping charges are calculated and shown automatically when you "Add to Cart" the products before placing the final order. This calculation is done based on total consignment weight and delivery location.
Please note, for viewing shipping charges you must be logged into the website. Sign Up and create an account with us (a one-time process) to be able to login.

 

Shipping Lead Time (time between placing order and despatch) 
Parcels are despatched within 2 working days after we receive confirmed order alongwith payment. Our working days are Monday to Saturday. So, for example, if a confirmed order is placed with us on Saturday evening, it can take till Tuesday for us to make the despatch. However, we process orders at a faster pace in routine so that you get your ordered products as early as possible.
 
Kindly note, an order is treated confirmed only after the payment is credited to our bank account or payment gateway account. A cheque deposit can take 2-3 working days to clear and online payment may take 24 hours to be credited into our account. 
 
Delivery Time (time between despatch and delivery of parcel) 
Once a parcel is dispatched it can take around 5 working days for delivery in city areas. If the area is a far-off place or satellite station for our courier partner (especially locations in Kerala & north east regions) it can take 7 to 15 working days for delivery.
 
We mainly use services of Delhivery.com courier company. For Pincodes where Delhivery does not have service we use India Post (Insured Parcel) service for delivery our our parcels.
 
Overall Time Frame (time between placing confirmed order to delivery of parcel) 
We advice our customers to take a time frame of atleast one week, from placing confirmed order to delivery of parcel, if you are located in main city areas.

Q. What payment options are available while purchasing at DreamCarModels.com?

 

A. Our customers have options to make payment online during the time of purchase or offline which can be done later, after booking the order on our website. Please read the following for details:

 

Online payment methods (payments over the internet):

1) Credit or Debit cards. It is the first payment option at our website which shows up before you add Billing & Shipping details. This method uses CC Avenue payment gateway for making payments which is secure and RBI approved. If you are unable to make payment first time due to Transaction Failure or Time Out or any other reason you can still make repeated payment attempts by following the steps below:

  1. Login to our website
  2. Go to My Account section (link given in top menu).
  3. Click on ‘Order Hsitory’ which will take you to the page showing list of your orders placed with us.
  4. Click on the order number to view detailed information of that order. Scroll down and at the bottom of the detailed page you will find payment options.
  5. Select the appropriate payment option and proceed for payment.
  6. At times payment gateways are busy so you might have to try more than once. In that case, please follow steps 3 to 5 again.
2) NEFT transfer / Net Banking- If you want to transfer the money directly from your bank account to ours you can book the order using cheque/draft option on our website. Later, login to your bank’s website, register us as payee and make the NEFT payment. Our bank details are as follows:

Offline payment methods (payments in conventional way):

For offline payments, you will first have to book the order on our website using Cheque/Draft option. It is the third option which shows up at our website before adding billing and shipping details. This way you can book your order so that products are reserved in your name for few days while you make arrangements to pay later.
You can also place order on phone or by email.

 

1) Cheque or Demand Draft should be in favour of Indus Industrial and payable at Ludhiana, Punjab. It can be deposited in our current account in any branch of Indian Bank in your city. Our bank details are given above and will also be sent through email automatically after the order is booked on the website. NOTE: Please do check Spam/Junk folders of your email account because sometimes emails might not land directly in Inbox folder.

Note: Please do not deposit cash in our bank account as it will incur extra charges. Only crossed cheque or demand draft is acceptable.

2) If you wish to send the cheque/DD to us by courier please make sure the instrument should be crossed and payable at par in Ludhiana so that outstation collection charges are not levied upon us. Address for sending cheque or demand draft is as follows:

3) Cash-On-Delivery: This payment facility is not available for the time being.
Here you pay cash at the time of delivery. This service comes with an extra charge of Rs.80/- per consignment/order. So if you wish to opt for this payment method kindly book the order at our website by selecting Cheque/Draft option and the products will be reserved for you. Later, just inform us by email at sales@dreamcarmodels.com with your order number so that we can get back to you with the correct COD amount as well as final confirmation.
